LNB frequency for NSS6?

Hi.

1. I would like to know what is the lnb frequency for the NSS6 satelite.

2. Is it possible to get Asiasat from here in Australia?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please excuse my feeble attempts to help.
1. I am no guru, but with a normal LNB I think it is 11300 Irrespective of SAT!!
With a universal it is perhaps 9570, BUT again it would be wiser if some one else could bring you up to date.
2. AsiaSat is there, but I don't find it of much use as their footprints are not of much use to AU.
A look at lyngsat would help you out there.
Thaicom2/3 is probably worth a try, but is low down on the horizon @ 76.6 Deg.E and you would need an ideal QTH to Rx.
=======================================
By the way Tarbs FTA TPs on NSS-6 have been shut down and according to the info I have are not likely to come back. Perhaps NSS will get other providers?? The SEX channels are still there, but scrambled, although you can get access with a subcard or other means.

Again don't take my word as gospel, I have checked my Rx for the LNB Fo.
Normal LNB is 11300/11300.
Universal is 9750/10600.
LNBF is 5150/5750.
However these Fos should be on the plate on the LNB itself as HiLo & Lo or something similar.
You'll have to check around the net. Try a search on "BlueKiss" , "Inxworld" ,
"FreeXtv", Or better still look at "Lyngsat" and in the NSS-6 listing are live links to the above etc. Beyond that I am still exploring myself.
