Austar atlas decoder and alternate remote control settings

I couldnt believe it !!!

On the atlas box it gives you the option to use the NEW digital remote
OR the 3 older type remotes!

Big deal you may say, but if you have a 2.4GHZ av sender then you would know the the new digital remote will not work with this system!!

All you need is a old remote and change the settings on the box to accept this remote and wahla your av sender works again!!!!

So this statment must apply to all Austar box's?
Mine (abs 8776) with latest firmware (12-04-2004) also has this option.
