What is need for DreamTV and DreamVCR

i'm a newbie and i wanna know how can i use DreamTV and DreamVCR; are need some external programs to be installed on my DB or simply install them on my PC and setting my login and Pw?

Great site hemertje hadn’t been there before, the most useful content I've read on the Dream so far. Answered a lot of questions so thank you very much.
