Dreambox DM-500S was unlocking channels and stopped...

Hi,
So i bought a Dreambox DM-500S from Dubai, paid for the receiver and the "subscription" that unlocks all showtime, art, and orbit channels for 200$/year (the subscription alone)...
it was working fine, then suddenly, it decides that it doesnt want to unlock the channels anymore... this happened over the span of a week, it was working fine last sunday, and now i can only see free channels... but i'm paying 200$/year for the rest, and they're not working...
i have never owned any kind of satellite receiver before, so i have no idea wat went wrong... is this something that anyone can help me with?

Dreambox is unlocking channels by using software cams , which is in your case previously configured.yu could have played with softcam setup, or may be you did "reset factory setting" or updated the software of your dreambox so the configuration files were erased from your dreambox. this could be a possibilty, if you are sure that you didnot, may be u missed with your network setting either in your dreambox or your router , so you have to check your connectivity to the internet, try to telnet your DBox and ping Google (google for the howto).A very common thing that the server owners suddenly made thier mind to stop providing the service, ofcourse you cant sue them as you are doing something illigal, subscription for similar services in egypt for 50$/6 months which works for me like breeze
