changing Mac address

I have created an init file and placed it in dreambox/var/ect
2. when I logon to DCC telenet what are the steps that I need to do to change the mac address, and the letter after "eth_ " is that a zero or the letter 'O", just starting with my dreambox, I am very new, any help would be appreciated.

in eth0 it is a zero. You already posted your question here. Please do not post the same messages in different threads.
