how to get Picon to work

I've just downloaded the Nabilosat image for the dm500 but can't work out how to get the picons to work/display

i downloaded the picons from this site and ftp to var/etc but noticed there wasn't a directory called "Picon" I created a "picon" directory and placed the picon there but i can't work out what to do next!!

any help on this would be great

To enable them use blue button.
