Question Sorry guys never noticed the message

I didn't even notice the message on the splash screen until I the read the other posts here. It's exactly as Rickie3 said, I found the software and uptil now its the only Irdeto2 software I have found and posted for you guys to look at. My mind has been in the numbers area so much that gfx become transparent to me.

As for racism, I'm definitely not one or will ever be, in all honesty, I tend to ignore all racial comments, hence the reason why I never noticed it. There is good and bad in all nationalities, no one is perfect, we are all different and that is what makes the world interesting and a beauty for all to enjoy. Moreover, my appologies if it has offended anyone, had I noticed it I would not have posted it in the first place! I didn't write the software only found it.

I posted the software because it was designed for Irdeto2 and noticed under the 'Pay-TV Networks' where it is normally set to 'Showtime Network' if you scrolled the selection to the bottom it has entries for 'Austar' and 'Aurora' which I found interesting to begin with. Didn't expect to see those entries listed in there and being a logger thought it would useful.

Cool

Thank you Best4less for your kind and sincere comment, I appreciate and respect your judgement.

Now to the hacking, I have managed to score a red card but unfortnately it's an unactivated one and have pulled some numbers from it.

HSN: 89 DB 73

ProvID: 00 03 00 (the same number used for PID 10, 20 and 30 - there are of course just dummy numbers by the looks of it)

Type: 4.1

ACS: 20.56

HPK: 7D 82 7F 52 AC 95 A4 11 2E 1D 2D 53 10 BA C9 5B
(16 Bytes long instead of 10 Bytes for previous Irdeto1 HMK)

CoCo: XFN

ATR String: 3B 9F 21 0E 49 52 44 45 54 4F 20 41 43 53 20 56 34 2E 31 9D
(very similar to Irdeto1 ATR)

You have to wonder if Irdeto2 uses the HPK as 2 string of 8 Bytes each or simply as one 16 Byte string. I would think the designers would use it as 2 x HMK keys which makes it much more difficult to crack, of course you would still achieve the same result as a 16 Byte string.

It's just easier to understand as:
-------------------------------
HMK1: 7D 82 7F 52 AC 95 A4 11
HMK2: 2E 1D 2D 53 10 BA C9 5B

I should be able to borrow an activated card from someone and curious if I can write some real provider ID's and try to activate the card some how. Does anyone know if Dlog v2.2 allows writing back to the card and is the program on this forum for download which would allow me to provide more feedback?

Cheers..

are we allowed to post keys now......... i thought it was forbidden??

anyway , with dlog i dont think it has got a write function, should just use FMCard 4.00 by fatmate and modify the commands you are sending to suit your card......worx fine.
