itgate 100 signal problem

The itgate cant locked to eutelsat w3a ( 7.0 e) .. can locked the other satellites like turksat 42 .. l tried everything ..instal the original images .. try to install other kind of images but none of them works .. what can be the problem ? anyone has any ideas ? thanks for help ..

There is a hughe range between 7E and 42E,so I guess you does not use a diseq switch, instead you turn your parabol using a motor? Try to lock manually on some transponder in this link.Eutelsat W3A at 7.0°E - LyngSat Also check that the transponders are present in the ItG satmenu. You does not say if 7E has worked earlier or if you are trying just to locate and install 7E.

Thanks for reply but l have 2 different satellites and one is for 7E and it was working till a few days ago .. also l tried it at my cousins working satellite .. the problem is itgate doesnt lock to E7 with working parabol .. we r trying other receiver at same parabol and it works .. hope tell my problem better this time .. thanks

Use DCC (Dream Box Controlcenter) and connect to your ItGate and check in /share/tuxbox/satellites.xml and verify that Eutelsat 7E is present in that folder. Maybe the problem is in you satellites.xml file? If so you may have to reinstall the box or try to find a satellites.xml file to download.

Edit: Also check in var/etc that sat.xml is present and correct.
