Re: Firmware 2.06 finally out

I must be just plain stupid cause I cant get either of the above two methods to load on my box
So I renamed to no_boot and loaded it on SD card
Comes up unknow version on firmware also still problems with lipsync and slow on channel change.
Glad I waited 3 months for this rofl

Re: Firmware 2.06 finally out

I've got it loaded but the W/S problem isn't totally fixed, although it is better. 16:9 programs are now OK but 4:3 programs are being automatically stretched. What is missing is the "16:9 (Always)" option that is available on the dreambox.

Cheers
Pat.

Re: Firmware 2.06 finally out

Tried both methods and working fine with clean installs.

Still some lipsync issues but will test and see what other issues it has.
Apart from that its looking pretty good.

I had to serial flash back to 2.03 then use the ftp method to get it in flash.
These boxes still have a long way to go to catch up to a dream
Still have SLIGHT lipsync problems and slow channel change to get picture.

Same here. I had to serial back to 2.0.5 then I used SD card method. I had DSTeam loaded previously. Maybe that has domething to do with it.

Cheers
Pat

Re: Firmware 2.06 finally out

I wonder when 2.0.7 comes out. The old forum itgateusers dissapeared and restarted with a new board. So now it's quite tough to get in touch with the dev's.
