The pin no# reset procedure works on all humax receivers. It will ONLY work if your in the STB STATUS menu.

Parental Control for the IRCI 5400/5400Z and Early 5410Z are all Euro Parental control which seems to screw up when using it on an Aus parental controled system. Dont use parental control at all and you wont have any problems.

The best way of parental control is to remove the card altogether.

OK - let me give the experts a hint here.... Forget the parental control. Here's how ya do it.

Hummy 5410Z:

Menu
Installation
Service Organising (enter your PIN)
Organise TV Services
Organise all Services
Find and highlight channel you want to block
Press the Yellow key (Lock)
A 'lock' symbol will appear next to your channel (repeat if you want to block more)
Hit the OK key
Exit all the way out

Go to your locked channel and it will ask for your PIN before it will display.

To undo a lock follow the same instructions above - when you press the yellow key the 'lock' symbol will disapear.
