Humax IR ACE "UNKNOWN SMART CARD

I have just purchased a new IR ACE, I have tried 2 smart cards including my valid foxtel sub card and a gold card. It does not matter which card I use after boot up I get the message
" Error E05 UNKNOWN SMART CARD" Can anyone Help?

Not trying to be funny, but I seem to remember that the card slot in the Humax is upside down compared to other decorders, so I would suggest you turn the card upside down and see if that works.

Don't worry mate, your not the first and definatly will not be the last. I myslef was beating the crap out of my first hummie when pulling the card out of the mediastar and into it 200 times! Finally i put it upside down by accident and hey presto. Was so happy!
