Reset Button???

I have got a Humax 5410z and i am having alot of trouble trying to get a good signal from my satellite, i just wanted to know if there is a way that i can completely reset the box so it would be the same as i got it when i took it out of the box? The mod shop gave me a sheet that showed how to delete the existing setting and now i have lost the tune channel and i really need it.

There isn't really an option to set it back to default on this. Really no need to set it back to default anyways. Make sure Antenna Alternative - 1 has LNB Frequency set to 11300 (common to most LNB) but you may have to check the back of your LNB if this not correct for you. And unless you are using DiSEqC or say a Motec then have 22KHZ Tone, DiSEqC input & Moterised System Disabled.

Then just scan for the pay/aurora services - whatever you want and see what happens. See what qual you get in manual scan after you input the Freq but before you try and scan it!

Well sit a ruler in the middle of the dish and aim it at the LNB, then raise the LNB side about 25 deg or so, this is approx where the line of sight should be, not exactly sure on the angle but it's sumfin like that! Trees don't help much either!

PTW, Plz cont in the other thread. Thanx man, luck.

No problem with my bursting! As fas as i knew, you couldn't. As there being no menu option. But ya learn something new every day!

Would hate to follow that combination by mistake!

Thanks for the correction!

here I was thinking I was the only idiot in the world, I too followed the instructions to delete all services etc; but now cannot get the default tune signal etc ... what exactly is the keying sequence you gave above; coz when I try it it doesn't do much ... which screen should I be in to achieve the reset?

are the brackets and commas required or are they there just to separate things?

cheers, helping me save my sanity and spondooley
