gaffman1 is on a distinguished road
Question humax vertical freq problem

I cant seem to get any channels on b3 that are vertical freq
I can get all the horizontal ones
The signal strength is 50% but no signal quality on vertical
Lnb is set a 11300

thanks in advance for any info

You could try to rotate the lnb to see if helps
Rotate it and see if you can get horizontal stronger then check if vertical is getting any signal
It could also be faulty or just be a single polarity lnb so you could try to put it between both * & V at about 45 deg.
Make sure you are using the correct settings for vertical also

I've tried all of these .
still not working
I must need a new lnb
I've checked my friends settings and there the same
he has no problem
the only difference is the lnb type

If one decoder is watching horizontal you won't get vertical. It (LNB) can't do both unless you have a dual LNB. Reason being, horizontal spits out 18v to your LNB for horizontal channels, which is higher than the 12v required for vertical.

I've tried with just one decoder and it still doesn't work
Could it be the lnb is only good for horinzontal freq?

Solution. A Dual Pol, Dual Output LNB. Has 2 discrete outputs which can be individually controlled.
