Humax VACi 5300 & ToH3.2_HoT fw???

Previously owner og IRCI5400 (now proudly owner of :rock: DreamBox7000+Maxtor120GB) but that’s another story…

Now I want to ask you guys about my friend (Saso M.)?!?
He has this Humax VACi 5300 receiver + MagicM + few FunC's and we want 2 know about VACi receivers and ToH_HoT firmwarez???
Compatibility with this kind recievers, can I make him happy watch S*y channels or other S2 packages??? Or even better FAQ What is the best and trusty software for VACi’s HUMAX (sites, links, FAQ’s answered, dw softwares) … being little rusty regarding Humax these dayz…but I’ll get better

I think that the ToH3.2_HoT firmware needs the irdeto cam inside the irci5400 and will not work with other models. Funcards are too limited for s2, you need titanium or similar. Perhaps converting the magic module to matrix reloaded could help (reloaded has an emulator function), but the latest firmware 1.081 doesn't decode s2, if i remember corrrectly.

The best way is change receiver.Code editable CAS patched Technomate 7700 is just 159 UK pounds.Yo don't need any cam and any card for watching encryption channels.
