Unhappy CI-24 : PC Connect Probs

Can anyone shed some light on exactly what settings should be configured on the PC that Glider is running on?

I can't get the PC to upload from the STB for something I am obviously doing wrong. Glider just doesn't find the STB at all. Have disabled all other devices that use the Comm port, matched baud settings and set flow control to none - still not happening.

Have W98SE, Glider 2.07A and a null modem cable between them.

Is there anything in particular to watch out for when trying connect? I would be wrapped if someone could run through the steps they take when using Glider on their CI-24.
