You would have to pluck out someone's 92#3's Eprom out of the box(that is if he has got a valid subbie) clone it to your box to get a picture. It's not that easy and these powervu boxes aren't userfriendly to operate. :?

powervu decoder

Pluck out the eprom ,, That differant, considering Scientific Atlanta receivers don,t us CAMs or Smartcards The encription is embedded in the software of the receiver,, This is canncelled when the receiver changes hands, If your a Pay or Cable provider, you might be in with a chance if not you have a door stop on your hands

Sorry, I should have been more especific,Scientific Atlanta D9234 & D9223 have a 16 pin chip with orange sticker on it ser no.
made fiberglass board so you can put in front panel run two chips at once one in one out 4 mhz is the clock speed.
pins are 3 CLK 5 RST 6 5V 9 GND 14 I/O 16 GND.

now need 4 mhz logger.

The lastest allcam firmware with all the std encryptions from PACSER now includes power vu. Lets them watch a number of channels including the military channels with US sport.

This is for the European Strong 8000/8100 Nokia 930x boxes.
