Uec 660

after I lost signal once the IRD now goes to NIT aquisition but turns itself off nearly straight away, I can't get into the menu and the R/C doesn't operate anything. Is there an internal reset or firmware reload that can be done? Please help.

I've had the unit off for a number of hours, then days and it still does the same, is there a combination of buttons or something to get it into default mode?

try to get into the menu, you dont need to have it connected to the dish, try unscrewing the LNB cable and if it does the same thing I would suggest its had a firmware overair upgrade and rended your box usless.

they did stuff up on some 660's in WA that i know of, they all were swapped out with new decoders, taken back and upgraded via the serial back at their HOME/Fox and sent out again. Apparently.
