I have one and I cannot get two pictures to work unless one of them is a non scrambled channel.
Even with two ci modules & cards in it
But it will record two seperate channels at the same time.

Ok man, i am looking at getting a sat tv receiver Topfield TF4000PVR or Topfield TF5000PVR who's got one and which is best other than the obvious double harddisk capacity. Is there any other brand that i should consider.

Cheers AL

Hi
I have a 4000 topfield - great box
You could consider the Dreambox Dm-7000s -also have one of these, and you can add a 120gig HDD to it,no CI cam needed can decrypt many Encryptions and very adaptable

The Topfeild TF5000pvr has duel tuners although as stated above I cannot get the P.I.P to work unless one of the channeld are FTA.
But a great box with alot of features. 50 odd hours of HD space for video.

But on the other hand if you want endless hours/years of playing around the DREAMBOX DM7000 is an exelent machine!

Cheers
