Angry camex777

have a nice day sir
i nead help
i bought a digital reciever model camex777 made in egypt
when it works it says that the
Model ID E113
H/W version 2.10
S/W version 2.39
and i want to connect it to my pc
to edit chanels, insert codes, etc
i dont know what software can i use to do this
i do search all the web about camex777
an i didnt find any thing except
some one wants to upgrade to s/w version 2.39 and wants the bin file to do that
and i dont know what to do

Hi,

Camex is orignaly a EM-Tech Box , so you can use any software for the em-Tech boxes
and i do have the newest ver of the software 2.40

Red face still have proplems with camex

i dont know how to thank you but realy
the information you gived to me was so great,

i found that its not only the camex 777 an orignaly a EM-Tech Box there is also many recivers as gbsat of uk you can vist http://www.gbsat.com/

but i still cant connect to to camex 777, i tried the emedit by obiwan with many versions 2.0 & 2.5 an i also tried emtech settings editor but it says ''Put receiver in send mode'' i tried the emedit for gbsat ( http://www.hisat.com/downloads/gbsatl.zip )
with no reaction.

the proplem is not from pin connections
i tried rs232c in wich the pins 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9.
the i added an adapter to change pins to 1-1, 2-3, 3-2, 4-6, 5-5, 6-4, 7-8, 8-7, 9-9.

but i want to ask cause the reciver open manys chanels with no cam on hotbird and others as multivision , if the problem because there is some one do upgrade the software to open these chanels ,and if this upgrade is protected not to be transfered to any other reciver or pc, how to remove these protection, or what is the problem with me .

Yeah !
the Problem is that the software is protected as i think you cant open the transfare mode starting from the ver 2.39
you can downgrade the software to 2.33 but you will lose the EMu of the CAM .

by the way do you know how to uploade the Hex file ?

i'll tell all what i know

My problem is that i can't connect to the receiver from the start; the eMUpgrade is not working with me to downgrade the software to 2.33 or to upgrade to any other version.

And about uploading hex file
exactly i don't know how to do this, all i know and sure of is that you can find hex files all over the internet and these files can be uploaded to the receivers with a certain software if your S/W version is 2.39 or you must upgarade to this version, many receiver programmers in my area do this for money but they are not letting us know

I wish
If some one know how to that
And want share his opinion
Just do,
May be we are in different places
But we are in one world
We can solve problems together
We can do a lot,
May be one day,
You didn't know yet the problems of tomorrow

I think that u havnt any problem ,cuz u didnt try download the software to the reciver ( By the way download to receiver is called Upload on the EM Upgrade ) all you have to do is : -

1. The download can be possible only through "COM 1 port" of the PC, please
make the "COM 1 port" of your PC is free to download the program.
2. Disconnect the receiver's AC power cord.
3. Connect an RS 232 cable (Crossed type NULL MODEM CABLE- Pin No. 2 and 3) between PC and Receiver. (RS232 should be connected on the "COM 1 port" on the PC)
4. After you start EM-Upgrade, go to “BROWSE” select the software for the receiver you wish to upgrade, select “DOWNLOAD” and “PROG, DATA” then press the start button.
5. Connect your receiver to the mains and turn on the mains power.
6. If there is an ID error, download the clean.bin file first, then retry the software for the receiver. The clean.bin file is with the main .bin software file. BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT SOFTWARE FOR THE MODEL OF RECEIVER YOU ARE UPGRADING.
7. In the PC's "EMUpgrade" program, the user can see a bar of the downloading status.
