U R a LEGEND!

If this works then in my mind (not to mention in the minds of my 5 kids) you are a legend Nokia_Rulez !

I have a null modem cable so it shouldnt be to hard, altho the null modem cable is left over my good old Amiga days, I am pretty sure its PC compatible.

The new firmware definitly fixes the problem. Foxtel started transmitting NDS along with I1 and I2 a couple of days ago and this confused the original and subsequent Allcam firmware in the Topfield 3000CIpro. As stated, load in the latest Firmware already posted here and all will work again.

Just a quick query guys. I have a Topfield 3000 Cipro and so far haven't experienced any problems(not yet anyway). Would it be advisable to load the new firmware or is it better to just leave as is.

Osman

Hi Osman,

You may have a later version of the firmware installed already. There will be no harm done in loading the latest firmware though.

@yosy, Don't know, why don't you ask your mate if it is running? The latest versions of all firmware is available from the Topfield web site.

Thankyou Pat for your response.
I hope the following link helps others with Toppy boxes.
It is the Topfield-Australia site with Downloads.

Hi Osman,

Thanks for the link but not to confuse other members, the link you posted DOES NOT have the latest firmware. The latest firmware is the one Nokia_Rulez posted above.

Strangley enough i too had the problem so i flashed it with the updated firmware which gave me back my pics. But the next day the same thing happened so i flashed it again.. Yep pics are back but maybe i have to do it yet again today when i get home!

So, the Firmware sure fixes the problem until the CAM gets confused again so it's not a real solution.

Anyone else with this problem? I also noticed that it effecting Topfields that have never been Allcammed. Very strange...

Any thoughts ???
