hi.....

now i have 2 useless pace boxes...........is there anything useful i can do it with it for my new hobby or can i strip them down or do what others do and sell them on the net...

OK, they are nearly useless, but at the moment they are getting about 30 channels across the DTH range........

seeing as a fair few of us still have these,
gas anyone been able to upgrade the firmware to try and save them from becoming boat anchors?
(mine was taken offline and missed the c-band lockout), so it`s not totally useless.

I pulled mine apart cause it had only fyi
and turned it on
seen some connctors in it and toched them together witha jumper from a hardrive whilst it was on and it resets or sumthn the screen goes prple then geeen but after it sescans took me a few trys got er no tv chan avlble but eventualy
it picks it up and i got all but 3 channels tv1 arena movi1
