Strong 4800 II Updates

Has anyone updated there STRONG 4800 II with the latest downloads from the strong web site.What changes accured & was there any issues with the instalation.

Also Strong Box Owners or anyone else what are you thoughts on this Box as Ive only had mine a week and so far Iam happy whith its performance.

I've been happy with mine, except for the fact that it occasionally just displays a blank screen when selecting a channel. Changing to another channel and back again usually fixes it.

yes i have upgraded mine with those versions on the site as well as the allcam version

straight forward opereation

certainly do it as they fix an epg bug for one

im not familiar with that problem of the blank screen..have not heard of that one before

maybe you should try the firware upgrade as well

Thanks for the input, I also have the same problem when surfing channels. The first time I select the desired channel nothing happens (Screen just goes black) then I move to another channel and come back to it again and it works.

Maybe the firmware upgrade will fix this issue.
The place of purchase here in Tassy told me that his does it as well and this is normal (dont know about this)

My unit also exhibits this problem. Changing from a Gold card to a Silver reduced it's occurance though!
