Can anyone explain to me what this ci cam is all about.

It makes sense now. I was just wondering because i have been looking at buying a reciever/ci cam package eg. -
emtech em200 + se ci cam $499 inc gst , which is not bad considering the ci cam (2.06) itself sold seperatly is anywhere upto $500.
Now off to read about flashing - ci cams, that is
