10 Mhz goldie and ADB

I just builtup the Jaycar pic & eeprom programmer and purchased a 10 Mhz goldie with 16F84A + 24LC16B.

i read in "take your pic" that 10 mhz cards give unreliable operation in the ABD decoders, just wondering if anyone has tried this? Just wondering what to expect.

In the event that i need to use a 20Mhz card, is this just another type of card and are they available retail? i spoke to jarcar and the guy wasn't sure about the frequency of any of their cards.

thanks all

desiac

I think that you will find the 10mhz are ok just dont use gold 225 code, they seem to have a fault in them.
