Have Humax 5410 connected to dish and pay box connected to output of humax. If I have humax switched to Aurora, pay box wont work. same if I switch humax off. Is there a problem or is that normal

That's normal because your Humax is the power source for the LNB so therefore if you switch over or off then LNB power to the sub box has disappeared, so no piccies..

and also you only have a single output lnb so you can not run Aurora (V)on one box and pay tv (H) on the other ..
