Can anyone tell me the problem with a new LNB when it causes the in line sat finder to squawk no matter its setting, plus the LNB does not operate even when substituted into an operating (identical) system? I am using the cheap chinese LNB on a Topfield 3000 pro ci and have had no previous problems with them.

Also can anyone explain the cause and the solution to the wavey lines present on the screen everytime I put the Topfield 3000 thru the video player. They are not present when connected direct to the TV?

PS done the search but found little technical assistance

sorry cant help on 1st ques 2nd ill try,check all cables make sure they are clean with no breaks or wear,video may need fine tuning,or interference from radio,cd player,or a speaker possitined to close,or moisture in cables creating bad earth,these are only my suggestions,hope they are of some help
