Hi all, im new here. I have a legit A**tar Sub, but up till recently i only had the one decoder(ADB) installed in the lounge room. Myself and the missus allways fought over which channel to watch, so i said bugger it and a brought a Topfield TF3000CIpro for the bedroom, i have a wafer card that im using in the Topfield box to watch tv in the bedroom. Now before i brought the box i did a little reasearch and decided the topfield was the right box for me, and i decided to have it allcammed, when i ordered the box i must have misread the details as i thought the box had an Irdeto embedded cam and 2x CI slots, but when i received the box it had no embedded cam but it came with a Irdeto Access 2.06b CAM part number 901633, which i inserted into the number 1 CI slot and away she went. Now this is where i get a little confused, i asked the dealer to allcam the box prior to delivery as they offered this service for $30 (thinking the cam was embedded and they would simply flash the firmware in the box)but to my suprise it came with a Irdeto Access cam part number 901633, now i did a little research on this particular CI module and found out that this cam is totally unflashable and cant be software upgraded!!! So my question is how has the dealer allcammed my decoder?(or have they even allcammed it?) if the CI module cannot be Allcammed what does the S/w patch do in this thread? http://sat-industry.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2807 Or do both the Decoder and the CI module have to be allcammed? Is it remotley possible to Allcam my CI module, if not what is the best Allcammed module to buy? Sorry for all the questions, im a noob, Thx so much for responses.
cheers
