Cool TOPFIELD 3000CIPro Newbie

I have a Topfield 3000CIPro but there are a few things I can't workout.

Firstly, it has a 9 pin cable socket for the computer. I've cabled it to the computer, but the computer (XP) doesn't pick it up. If I can connect the two, what can I do that I can't with the remote?

I've downloaded the allcamming (zip) file from this site. What do I get if I allcam my decoder, that I don't already have?

Thirdly, I'm curious about Zee TV, which I believe is Indian. A friend has been able to modify my card so I can receive, F****L, A****R & OPTUS AURORA. Is the Zee TV encoded in some other way, or is it not running, and suppose I wanted to watch it?
