powervu

im about to buy a powervu 9234 decoder this has a card slot,
are this any good, or off any use. mostly for c-band pas2 and pas8.

Why powerVU?there are a lot of "much better" Receivers,like

Strong 4800II,Humax IR-ACE.

I am trying to watch AFN.(american forces network)
Their signal can be received only by authorized Powervu.

There's ESPN.ABS-CBN,CNN and the list goes on which I would like to get into.

You said the other day we could watch AFN channel.

The lastest allcam firmware with all the std encryptions from PACSER now includes power vu. Lets them watch a number of channels including the military channels with US sport.

This is for the European Strong 8000/8100 Nokia 930x boxes.
