Image Flash backup
Hi,
I will purchase a receiver and I will flash on it an experimental firmware. Since things might go wrong with the new firmware I want to backup the existing firmware and be able to flash it right back in case of a problem. How can this be done? Are there generic software that can connect on different receivers through rs-232 and back up the existing image?
Please share any knowledge, ideas and tips you may have about how to backup an image and save it on my pc and then be able to flash it back
