Allcamming a Topfield TF3000CI

Considering buying my first non-pay TV provider STB.

Considering a Topfield TF3000CI - RGB out & digital audio high on my list.

Wondering whether to purchase the unit already Allcammed & therefore no warranty.

Some threads suggest that it is easy to Allcamm - basically a firmware upgrade.

Is this easy - have flashed the bios of computers but nothing else?

Is the loader software & firmware upgrades generally accessible?

If you have flashed the BIOS on a PC then the firmware upgrade on this STB will be a piece of cake.

All files are readily accessible, as is the original firmware so you can go back to it for warranty purposes. This is only possible if the STB hasn't died totally.
