Humax or the new UEC?

Hi, I am looking to buy either a Humax IR-5410Z or
UEC DSD 900Z as a second decoder (for the bedroom). I have a
sub and a goldie.
Firstly, which of these two will be the best to purchase, also, will i just need to put the freq details in and then insert goldie or, will i need to download some sort of firmware or something to make the decoder work
