Lacuna Sat Meter firmware

Hi all.

I want to update my lacuna sat meter with uptodate sat files, but alas the firmware in the meter is to old to accept the new files V. 4.05 meter dated 2002 Does anyone know how to update the firmware or where to find it? The lacuna site doesnt have the relevant files. Hope someone can help!

I had been hoping someone could help you as I have the same problem. I have talked to Lacuna and they say that they will update for £25 + PP. I haven't done so yet, I was also hoping for a DIY solution

Hi.

I had to send my meter back to Lacuna, they charged me £72 as some components had to be changed to enable the new firmware.

Shame it could not be done as a diy project.

I would like to know what they charge for a new unit.
