What CAM does the Strong box have? I know a place you can get a Humax 5410z ALLCAM for $500 new.

Strong 4800 II

Go the Strong... I bought one directly from the distributors. Strong Technologies (Search for them in the whitepages.) 509$ shipped to my door next day

Included the 2.06 CAM.. (Note not the 2.06B CAM!)

Strong will handle a higher symbol rate than the Humaxes, and have an extra CI slot.

Strong has Coax digital out where Humax have optical.
Both have SCart >> SVideo capabilities.

The 2.06 B CI Cam cannot be flashed(change firmware)-It can ,but it's a big job,and I wouldn't attempt it(not a job for the faint-hearted).
Whereas the 2.06 CI Cam can be flashed to All Cam or Freecam using a laptop.

No need for that even!

The Strong can be flashed (the box itself) to be Allcammed.

I'm looking for the files if you have them I'd like them

They run faster, scan faster, run cooler, are better with C band and also have a very easy to use interface, besides the ALLCAm patch the EPG issues been addressed and fixed too!

Much better than a 5400 or 5410 (I know I have them I aint just being an @$$hole)
