Reelbox PVR 1100S - New Linux based FTA receiver is released

I thought this might be interested to some of you. Looks like new Linux based FTA receiver was just released in Europe by Reel Multimedia. It will be available for sale in Germany in February of 2005 for 699 euros. It will be featured in CES 2005 trade show in Las Vegas on January 6-9, 2005.

sounds good......but if it doesnt have any support.....like other linux based boxes, you cant do much else with them other than watch TV.

Does anyone know if there will be unofficial images for it, or will the current emu sw work with the official image?

Lets start with the price first! Its € 699,- ex Germany / Switzerland or wherever it comes from!
Easy to figure out that its roughly $1300+ landed in Oz!
Full production only starts May / June so whatever you currently see or hear is VIP units been shipped to people who had faith in the project and prepaid long time ago!

However I'm sure there will be aftermarket software just like with Tripple Dragon and others
