technomate tm-1500 ci+ patch

have just purchased the above receiver and believe that the card reader is a multicam? Is there a patch to load to make this work? It has the new software dated 20 dec 2004 I was told to go to "System Info" and enter "2004" but nothing works as yet, HELP!!!
