Hi,

Yesterday, I discover a strange problem with my configuration.

I own a dreambox, a disecq motorized 1.2 m dish and a single lnb.

When I try to localize a satellite, I always obtain 45 % of snr.

I think I need to change my lnb. Any advices ?

would think that a lnb change would improve the 45% showing , it seems to show 45% when not reciving an satelite signal , why i dont know but its the same wiht my 4 lnb's they all gave 45% when i installed the dish but now i get ~80-88%

Also worth trying your cable in case it has got moisture in it and you could also remake the connections to the plugs on the LNB and receiver.

Which img are you using? I've had similar problems after I updated to Hydra Zeus.

ah could it be the img thats cousing this ? im running zeus also ..

45% is what is shows for no signal as already stated. Image has nothing to do with this as they all use the same enigma base.

Check your LNB and connection it is undoubtably your problem.

Try to align the dish against one sat - and try with direct cabeling from LNB to DB. Then try with motor in between. If signal drops with motor you might have a problem like mine.

I suffer from a total loss of signal when motor is in-line - but only at Sirius (5E).
