How to copy a protected MMC

Does anyone know how to copy a protected MMC?

I have an MMC which contains charts and navigational data (Navionics Gold). I'd like to make a backup copy of the MMC; however, they've done something to stop the information correctly copying over. If I try to copy the card, the original MMC is not damaged in any way. The destination MMC card shows that it has the information there; however, it doesn't work.

Thanks for any help

Saw your posting. Did you ever get a way to copy your Navionics card ? I want to have a back-up at home in case mine gets damaged/lost.
