Lost Hdd, can't transfer \var of Hdd

Hello,

after updating from an old gemini image to gemini 4, I installed DCC on my computer and, as an idiot, have clicked in the telnet section on 'mount Hdd'.

My dreambox recognize that an Hdd is installed in the expert setup.
But I can't access to the content of the disk neither from the File section of the dreambox, nor with ftp (internet explorer).

a) Can anyone help me to 'remount' my hdd in order that I can see the content again ?
b) How can I redirect my \var to the Hdd (with DCC or with a command line).
c) as a cherry on the cake may I also ask how to redirect to an usb key ?

Thanks in advance, I have many films for the kids on this Hdd.

Start your web browser on your PC
Goto to your dreambox web page
select config and click on Mount Manager
click Add
set 2 (=device) in the file system type
set the automount checkbox
set /var/mnt/hdd in client directory
set /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 in server directory
That should be sufficent.

Regarding the /var move. This can occur only after the first reboot just after the flash operation. At that moment, you can find in the Extra Settings (blue panel) the entry Var Folder. There you can choice to move the var on the HDD or USB.

thanks for your response, happy to hear that I can probably fix this, I'll have a try tonight if I can go back home (there is some big transportation strikes in France) and will give feedback.
