help needed on using official C+ card

HI,
I would like to know how to use a Canal+ official card with a DB 7000 /7020 loaded with Gemini 2.7 image and using Newcamd 6.08?
Are there any special settings for the emu? I know you have to stick the card chip downwards into one of the card reader: What else do I have to do ?

The simplest way is dowloading the newcamd config from cam-config menu
Then restart the emu.
That's all !

I'm using camd together with a c+ official card.

Works great, although.....
I have a dutch C+ card, and some channels keep on freezing for a few seconds....
Download Camd cam, camd config and camd key
Be ware...
Tranq uses camd3.840c
Multiv u have to update the key bluepanel/sytem options/userscripts/aes_camd3........(download script first!)

I hope this works voor your C+ card to!

Yes right, it works with camd3 too but there is a problem with camd3, the AU does not work !!! Every month you have to change to another emu (like newcamd) to allow the AU and then come back to camd3.

So maybe it better to use always newcamd.
The aes updater exists for newcamd also.

BTW , what 's this AES updater, some file to be downloaded from somewhere ??

The AES Updater is something that help you to find quickly the new AES info.

Hi ,
After sweating over my pc looking for howtos, I 've finally managed to get my off c+ card work. I found advice on using newcamd 6.01 with some mods on the config and cardsever files - I had to delete a " betad " line -
Well end of blank screen !
