/var disk have not enough space

when i try to install addons i got this message , how to set a free space for /var to install more stuff other than using multiboot?

Hi

First of all, you have to install a USB stick or a harddisk. There is not enough space in flashmemory for all the addons with the addons installed on.

i got pc hdd linked with db using cifs can i install the addons there? how?

You transfer the fails *.bz2 with FXP to /tmp, then you press the Blue batten go to addones,manual install(/tmp).
The addons you can find them hear

you can install the addons to the PC but then the PC has always to be on... else it wont work!

which box do you have?

You can do it with nfs mount. Truegridnfs is ok for this. You need to move the plugins folder from var/tuxbox to your share folder in pc and create a symlink from var/tuxbox. Regards, pcd.
