MGCamd as CAMD3 Client mode

Has anyone tired to use MGCamd as CAMD3 client mode. I have no success with it. In Newcamd client mode it works, but Camd3 server only works with Camd3 client for me.

The reason i try is that with Camd3 i can not record and watch two channels from same TP in the same time. With MGcamd i could.

When i try to run Mgcamd from telnet it gives a parse error for the camd3.server line.

What can be the problem ?

Be aware, that you can run MGCamd as client and Camd3 as server only if Camd3 is 3.704 or older!

Is there a way that i can use camd3 watching and recording separate channels from the same transponder ? i had no success !

This is the only reason why i prefer Mgcamd.

Yes, you can do! The latest versions of Camd3 are able to do that. Just activate in CI that the CI can decode multitiple channels. That's how you have to do it.

I tried earlier, but when i swich on to the other channel, i loose picture on the one i am recording !

Of course i have to tell that i am using it as client mode with an other camd3 server in the lan network.

Maybe it looses the connection with the server when i am zapping ?

I also loose connection when i switch the DB into standby mode and then swicth it back. I am using DB 7020 Gemini mod 1.02.
