Drivers now included in Steven Toth repository with new S2 API proposal on Linuxtv.

Hope soon they will be included in Linux kernel.

Hint for infrared remote. Fixes input device by symlink it. Replace "0x109f" with your card VendorID. root@vdrbox:/etc/udev/rules.d# cat 55-local.rules

Start lircd: /usr/local/sbin/./lircd -H dev/input -d /dev/input/irremote

LIRC configuration instruction. In lirc source directory: ./configure --with-driver=devinput
make
make install

Investigate satellite card input device number: cat /proc/bus/input/devices

Find output lines like this: ..........

Start lircd: /usr/local/sbin/./lircd -H dev/input -d /dev/input/event4

You'll need to make sure the evdev module is loaded.


Updated 23.03.2008:
Driver for 2002/2102 cards, which do not needs to patch kernel or v4l-dvb. Take file: dvblipl.tar.bz2. Tested with linux-2.6.24.3. Simplified install:

tar -xvf dvblipl.tar.bz2
cd dvblipl
make
make install

This installs modules dm1105.ko and dvb-usb-dw2102.ko.

Updated 22.03.2008: Patch for linux-2.6.23.12. dvb-igorlipl.diff. Tested also on linux-2.6.24.3. LIRC config file for remote control support:lirc.conf. Do not forget firmware for USB card http://liplianin.at.tut.by/dvb-usb-dw2102.fw.

1.Add DVB-S2 PCI-Express DW2005 support.
2.DW2002,DW2004,DW2102X,DW2104X,change WDM drivers to BDA drivers.
3.Add IP support for BDA devices.
4.Load WDM device(USB first),then BDA device(USB first).
5.Fixed the BDA device driver and BDA plugins(for WDM device) to support NBC-QPSK and NBC-8PSK modulator types,with auto FEC search.
6.IR support for BDA device, includes TheatreMgr.exe.
7.Add MD plugins support for BDA devices.Update
MDPilot.exe.
