ORBIT,need help...

i need help sharing orbit.

i'v got Orbit HUMAX XD300 reciever and i want to share it in my private network at home.
i did open the cover and i can see the SIM card glued to the PCB,i know that i need to connect the wires under the PCB but where and how ?

Same here. we are starting to hear more and more here and there about sharing Orbit network. you still need to have a legal subsc. It would really be usefull to be able to watch it on a dreambox or two on another room.

I've got the same Humax XD-300 receiver and as sky55 I opend it and couldn't figure out how to connect the wires. I did take some pictures. I still wonder If that is only what we need to do (i.e. correctly connecting the wires to read the smart card) as when you want to activate your subscription with orbit they ask you for the two codes on the back of the receiver. I don't know but maybe one is for the reveiver and the other is for the smart card. I'm not sure but if that is true you may need both of them working together to decode the channels.

Please we need all the help we can get from you as sharing this network is fully duable from what i hear it is just not as easy as the irdeto showtime or art.

If this thread is in the wrong section please move it to the right on to get the most out of it.
