Decrypting more than one channel at a time OFFSITE

Dear ppl.

I guess this is one for the guru's...

Is it possible to run whatever softcam on a different machine than the dreambox itself and still make it work?

I am looking for a way to stream more than 1 channel from the Dreambox to an external Linux box, and then decrypt them.

The multiple streaming works, It's possible to watch BBC1 > 4 all at the same time on another machine than the dreambox...

But now I need an emulator that I can start on a linux box, more than once, and make it decode four (or more) Non-FTA streams.
To make it worse, It has to look at the keys on my *legal* smartcard...

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this with newcamd, or scam or whatever softcam?

Any hints greatly appreciated...

Interesting,how does the multiple streaming work??
In the way i see it,you could use offlineCSA,which is about exactly that:to decrypt a pre recorded file,i assume you can adapt it to decode the incoming stream.
TSreader might be another possibility.
But many things I have to ask.
First,when you stream,you have to stream the full TS,not only the 4 channels of BBC,but all their ECM pid's at least,so the remote decoder has something to decode.
Then a question of "using the same card for all 4 channels",so,maybe the solution for you is to decrypt 'in site" before streaming.
Theoretically,you have to "share' this legal card with your 4 streaming channels,before they are sent away.
In this way,you can only stream audio and video unenecrypted.
By expecting the remote decoder to use your card,you must supply the FULL TS,with all it's bandwidth,can you do that??
In any case,i want to know how to stream 4 channels off one dreambox.Very interesting.
