Recording on one channel while watching another channel on the same transponder!

I have a problem which drives me mad. If I start a recording to the hardisk on one channel and then switch to another channel on the same transponder, everything works well. But if I switch back to the channel that I am recording from, the screen is black (no picture)!

I have selected "can handle two services" and I am using MGCAMD.
Does anyone know if all emus that can handle two services behaves the same?

sorry i don't have the answer to your question although i would like to be able to do what you have mentioned. Where exactly do you select "can handle two services?" in the emu setup? or somewhere in the enigma? can newcamd do this? thanks mate.

I have tried all emus now, and SCAM is the only one that is working 100%
It's a pitty that SCAM doesn't support VIA2.4 yet, but hopefully it will come soon!

I just tried it and it doesn't work, the screen goes black when I switch back to the channel which I am recording from! By the way, I'm using the rudream beta image from 0515.

The only emulator which is working 100% is SCAM. It is a pitty that SCAM doesn't support VIA2.4 or the Danish Viasat channels(the only one left using Viaccess 1). I really love SCAM, it is fast, small and very stable. Hope that Tiger continiues to develop it

I downloaded Scam 2.5f but it doesn't work for me (here in Australia).

What do you mean by.... "I have selected "can handle two services" ??
