I found this on the I Have A dreambox forum.
I tried it and it works:

Edit newcamd.conf and change OSD_TIMEOUT = 3 to OSD_TIMEOUT = 0

OK. What kind of external message you've got? I thought u meen this type of message.

external message with all the informatiion about the channel: provider, keys in used, date etc....

jonasz, OSD=none only works with v5.28 or earlier. For v6 you need to change it to OSD_TIMEOUT=0 to supress on-screen display of emu details.

Has anyone got original ART card working in newcamd 6 bottom slot?

Installed fine, card sharing etc running perfect but can't/won't decode on ART card.

Tried standard version & double betad

Anyone suggest what I've missed?
