error init seca card with cardserver 6.0

Hello

I'm running a cardserver on a linux box.

with the 5.28 cardserver it works fine but when I launch the new cardserver I just got this answer :

what's wrong ?

Hya,

I read the following in the cardspider.cfg:

make sure all cardservers/spiders you
# conntect to are v5.22 or newer, otherwise you'll loose connection to them,

So, maybe you can still use Newcamd 5.28 as your server, untill you/they sort things out?

I'm not running any cardspider.

It's the card's initialization which failed.

That's what i tried to point out to ya. As it seems a 6.00-client can still connect to a 5.28-server, so you could perhaps still run the 'old' version...

Yes and that's what finally I do...

But I hope that this problem will be solved even if I don't know the benefits of the new cardserver.

Enabling DEBUG_INIT you will be able to see which instruction makes it fail.

With 5.28 and the new d+ sub card, this happens to me:

I've just tried it with my Debian GNU/Linux pc and card init also failed (with the same working 5.28 config file).

This is what I get enabling DEBUG_INIT:
