Two Dishs motorized dish and fixed dish?

With diseqc 1.1 switch, I have tried to configure lnb settings on many ways, but it didn't work.

I have one cable from dishs to receiver.

How can I put two dish, motorized dish and fixed dish on DB?

Connect dreambox to rotor
rotor through to switch
switch ch1 to LNB on rotordish
switch ch2,3,4 to LNB's on static dish

Then choose custom settings in the sat setup
LNB0 should already be configured correctly, it should do disecq1.2

choose the satellites you want on the static LNB's and set them to
LNB1,2,3 then configure these to Disecq1.0 and give them the right Disecq A/B B/A and B/B settings.
Now you will have a long list with lots of LNB0 (the rotor)
and LNB1,2,3 for static.
I got it working this way

Its a Stab HH100, it really should be this way....

(You even got me to actually look it up in the manual

But most of you guys are from downunder right? maybe other rules apply? Makes sense in a way....

Hi.

I know this is an old thread. But I have a similar problem.

I want to change my echostar 300ipva for a Dreambox. But my dish is on a 36v H2H. So I will need a VBOX V2 to drive it. I want to use my motorised dish and fixed dish with multi LNB's on the Dreambox.
Is this still possible seeing as I have to use the VBOX? A dealer has said that it's in no way possible.
The DM I want to buy will be the 7025 with twin tuner. Do you think that it will be possible to have the VBOX on one input and diseqc switch on the other?


I have tried to email dream about this, but they never answer my questions.

I just had to do this so I thought I'd post my good experiences.
This was with a dm 7020 so very new software in case that makes a difference.

I have a 4 way diseqc 1.0 switch with 3 fixed LNBs and a diseqc 1.2 mount.


First make sure the motor mount is on output 1 (A/A) of the diseqc switch, then you can operate through the switch as if it isn't there.

I configured the motor mount by selecting diseqc 1.2 motor option (only) then setup access to all the sats (my motor is old and doesn't support goto x! so a bit of work there) ... all on LNB 0 with no other options. Not being told about the switch it defaults to the first output .. then the clever bit

Go and find the three satellites in the setup that are for fixed LNBs and change the LNB to 1,2,3 for these three and go to the next page on each and I set diseqc 1.0 and the correct output (A/B B/A and B/B) for each.

I noticed a bug that each time you change an LNB number and save it, it changes to the next available number after 0, you can't leave a gap in the numbering.

And that's it - it worked !
I would imaging a similar setup would work with diseqc 1.1 uncommited switches, and well, any kind of mix of hardware really ...
