Please help my DB does not boot

Dear Friends,

I have just updated my DB’s flash image but after the update it does not boot at all and when I put DB’s plug the LCD turns on but without any dream logo and the LCD light starts to reduce and increase continually. I have purchased a Jtag from Dream Multimedia long time ago, I have decided to update through jtag maybe it could help but unfortunately the software which I have is the 1.1 version and when I installed it on my XP windows I am receiving this error “Couldn’t open USB device, please check installation” the installation is ok as there is no problem in the device manager. I tried the jtag through windows ME although the guide mentioned that it would not work with that one, but the installation was completely ok and when I run the jtag updater I have received this error “The adapter has too new software”.
For your information no LAN or null modem cable works at the moment as DB does not boot at all.
I would appreciate very much if some body could help me to solve this problem.

We have found out that the problem of my DB is power supply which I have to change it. Can some body tell me where can I find this part or purchase it from a web site online?

I flashed my 7000s with sphinx and am now in same boat.ie a dead dbox with no rs232 or lan interface working. Someone mentioned a Cass3 interface will do the job.
but what is a CASS 3 Interface?

I have got my 7000 working again useing rs232 and dreamup software.I flashed it with gemeni 280. All works well except I cannot connect with flashwizard 6.3 and I cannot link to the net on lan so I cannot download any keys or cams as yet. It appears that the lan connection is not working but it shows up on my computer as soon as I disconnect.
Crabapple. ps.. at least it fixed the flash image.

Hi Crabapple,
You probably need to change the communications setup in setup>expert setup.
